At the forest floor, the roots run deep ~ providing the life veins to nourish the tree body of the Mighty Ponderosa. Needles that have fallen at the nudging of the wind provide the nesting supplies for the creatures who burrow for shelter.
Branches use the life energy to reach upward, embracing other forest creatures who make their homes above Mother Earth.
The Basket Maker gathers the needles that have volunteered, selecting with care those chosen for another life ~ to be woven into a vessel of color and shape, celebrating once more the abundant gifts of Creator, the “Spirit That Moves In All Things.“
